Learning to lead; Neist Point, Skye

Here in the Scottish Highlands the spring & summer days are bright and long allowing us to make use of the huge amount of rock climbing on offer. Whether you’re just starting out, want to perfect your technique, become a competent leader or sample some of the classic multi pitch mountain routes; hire a qualified Rock Climbing Guide to discover the perfect itinerary whatever your level of ability.

Steve is an excellent instructor.  Also, I find him very easy to get along with which is a massive bonus when the weather is adverse and testing, or at those times when my nerves where jangling a wee bit.  No question that I had was looked upon as silly or stupid and Steve took the time to explain things in detail, even when the question had little to do with the course content (my forthcoming Mera Peak expedition is an example).  I will be back for more training during 2011 and beyond as I build and develop my mountaineering and climbing skills. Vertical Fever will always be my one stop shop –
