Last week I was back on the Isle of Skye getting familiar with the ridge again and doing a day of work for Skye Guides. The Cuillin ridge was still holding allot of snow for this time of year, especially the Northern end but its all manageable with some care and occasionally using crampons. The current high pressure is doing a good job of melting away the remaining patches which will hopefully be the start of a dry summer: I can always hope! Tomorrow is the start of another busy period on Skye, its going to start with a heatwave….
