James has been spending a few days in the Highlands tackling classic walks and some easy scrambles. Today was his chance to push himself a little and head for a traverse of the Aonach Eagach. It was misty and wet first thing but as we approached Am Bodach the clouds lifted and things started drying out nicely. As per the norm in such conditions it was a little greasy but the crest offered the most grip drying out in a cool North Westerly breeze. Lots of other teams out enjoying the ridge including a few putting in a stint in trainers ahead of the imminent Glencoe Skyline race. I was working for Lochaber Guides.
