Some Dry Weather at Last
Its been nice to stay dry the last few days after getting truly soaked since returning from the Alps. I’ve been back on Skye and out with John who had proposed an attempt at the main Cuillin traverse but unfortunately withdrew due to injury. We did manage to get Sgurr MhicCoinnich done as a consolation prize and the weather was simply stunning. I then had a few days at home Munro bagging with Jane and Goose before heading back north for a couple of days working for Skye Guides.
It was Andy’s first foray into the Cuillin mountains and he was keen to start with the main event – the Inn Pinn which we did in good style before heading over and grabbing Sgurr MhicCoinnich too. The following day we went to the Northern end and whipped round the three Munros in the drizzle only for it to clear as we stood ontop of Bruach na Frithe – what a treat.
