The Overseer Direct
I have just got back from a very hot Vietnam to a very cold and snowy Scottish winter. It has truely kicked off with lots of people out enjoying the fine weather. Today Ken, Dave and I opened our winter account with The Overseer Direct (V,6) in the Cairngorms. The conditions are just perfect for snowed up rock climbing and the route deserves more than a single star. Loads of great hooks and gear and equally sustained pitches make this a nice short route with a bit of a punch to start the winter off. Thanks for the pictures Dave and Ken!
